What exactly is Dalvox Capital, and what are you selling?

Dalvox Capital is a quantitative technology firm. We develop, rigorously test, and license institutional-grade Expert Advisors (EAs) — automated trading programs that run directly inside MetaTrader 5. You purchase a compiled .ex5 file bound to your broker account, install it on your MT5 terminal, and the algorithm trades autonomously on your behalf. We do not manage your funds, we have no access to your account, and we take no share of your profits. The license is a single one-time payment.

Question 2

Is the system fully automated, or does it require manual input?

Accepted Answer

Fully automated. Once installed on your MT5 terminal, the EA operates independently — it scans the market, places trades, manages stop losses and take profits, and closes all positions intraday without any input from you. You can monitor activity in real-time via MetaTrader's Journal and Experts tabs, but no daily action is required on your part.

What instruments and sessions does the algorithm trade?

The core engine is built and validated on the S&P 500 (US500 / SP500 / SPX CFD, depending on your broker's symbol naming). Higher tiers add additional, structurally uncorrelated systems that may cover other major US indices. All systems are intraday — every position is closed before the end of the trading session, so you never pay overnight swap fees or carry rollover risk. How many trades does it open per month, and does it trade every day?

Trade frequency varies by tier and market conditions. Single-system tiers typically generate 20–50 trades per month on the S&P 500. Higher tiers running multiple systems in parallel operate more frequently. The algorithm is selective — it only enters when its conditions are met and never forces trades during low-volatility, structurally ambiguous periods. Which MetaTrader version is supported?

Accepted Answer

MT5 only. Our Expert Advisors are compiled as .ex5 files and use capabilities exclusive to MetaTrader 5 — native tick-by-tick data, hedging and netting account modes, and MT5's native order execution layer. No other platform version is supported.

Question 6

What broker and account type do I need?

Accepted Answer

Any MT5-compatible broker offering ECN / Raw Spread accounts with low commissions and fast order execution. Common choices are IC Markets, Pepperstone, Tickmill, and Vantage. Standard and Pro account types both work — the critical variable is execution quality. Avoid brokers with wide fixed spreads, requotes, or artificial latency. The engine trades short-term volatility and is sensitive to fill conditions.

Do I need a VPS, and what specifications are recommended?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a VPS is required for reliable 24/5 operation. The server should be co-located with your broker's primary execution hub (typically London, New York, or Amsterdam) to minimise latency. A standard Forex VPS in the $10–20/month range is sufficient: 1–2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM, Windows Server. We provide a full MT5 configuration checklist as part of onboarding, along with a list of recommended VPS providers — typically Beeks Financial Cloud, ForexVPS.net, or the built-in MQL5 VPS that can be activated in one click from inside MetaTrader 5. All three offer broker co-location and painless MT5 deployment.

What happens during high-impact news events (FOMC, NFP, CPI)?

The algorithm includes a built-in volatility filter that automatically pauses new entries around scheduled high-impact events and resumes normal operation once market conditions stabilise. This is handled internally by the EA — you do not need to manually disable it before news releases.

Can I run the EA alongside my own manual trades on the same account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but with one important consideration: the EA calculates position sizing based on total account equity. Running large manual positions simultaneously can alter the effective exposure the EA operates under. We recommend a dedicated account for the EA — or, at minimum, ensuring your manual positions don't significantly shift your overall risk profile while the EA is active.

What is the minimum recommended account size?

Accepted Answer

Starter is designed for accounts from $5,000 upward. Advanced, Pro and Elite target the $10,000–$100,000 range. Institutional is built for capital above $100,000. The EA scales position sizes proportionally to balance, so smaller accounts work — they simply produce smaller absolute profits while preserving the same risk/return profile.

What leverage is required?

The algorithm is not leverage-dependent. It functions correctly on accounts from 1:10 to 1:500 — the built-in risk model prevents over-leveraging regardless of what the broker offers. A standard EU retail account at 1:30 is perfectly adequate. Accounts at lower leverage ratios remain fully functional with all tiers.

How is risk managed? Is there any Martingale, Grid, or averaging-down logic?

Risk is fixed at 1% of equity per trade. Every position carries a dynamic ATR-based stop loss and an independent take-profit. There is no Martingale, no Grid, no averaging down, and no recovery logic of any kind. Each trade is fully independent — a losing trade has zero influence on the sizing of the next one. At the portfolio level, directional and breakout engines run asynchronously so the aggregate equity curve stays controlled through regime shifts.

Does Dalvox have any access to my trading account or capital?

Accepted Answer

None whatsoever. You install the .ex5 on your own MetaTrader 5 terminal, connected to your own broker account. We never receive your login credentials, we have no API or read access, and we cannot place, modify, or remove trades on your account. You can pause, delete, or modify the EA at any moment without notifying us. Your funds remain 100% under your control at all times.

What is the worst-case drawdown I should realistically expect?

Accepted Answer

Maximum drawdown across all five published tiers ranges from 16.4% to 19.1%, measured over 14+ years of tick data that includes the March 2020 COVID collapse, the 2022 Fed rate-hike bear market, and every major regime between 2011 and 2026. These figures already include a ×1.5 spread mark-up and added slippage model. In the full Monte Carlo analysis (1,000+ randomised simulations), worst-case drawdown stays under 25% for every tier across all scenarios. Should I run the EA on a demo account before trading live?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we strongly recommend it. Before committing real capital, run the EA on a demo account, ideally with your intended broker and VPS setup, for a prudent period long enough to see it operate across a range of market conditions. Use that time to confirm your installation, broker execution, symbol mapping, and VPS stability are all correct, and to get comfortable with how the algorithm opens and manages trades. Only move to a live account once you have verified everything works as expected and you fully understand the risk involved. Trading carries a high risk of loss, and simulated or past performance does not guarantee future results.

Are the backtest results realistic? What costs are factored in?

Every figure we publish is net of a ×1.5 spread mark-up on every fill, an artificially added slippage model, and standard ECN commissions — validated on 14+ years of continuous tick-by-tick data (2011–2026). The definitive performance run executes at tick precision: every entry and exit is reconstructed from raw tick data, not OHLC candle approximations. We do not show idealised backtests. Does the historical data include COVID, the 2022 rate-hike cycle, and other major crises?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The 14+ year dataset includes: the 2015 China flash crash, Brexit and the 2016 US election, the March 2020 COVID collapse (the fastest 30% drawdown in S&P history), the 2022 Fed rate-hike bear market, the 2023–2024 AI-driven bull run, and every macro event between 2011 and 2026. Any strategy that only performs in trending conditions would have failed visibly during these periods — and we wouldn't publish it.

Why are your backtest figures more trustworthy than the typical EA backtest?

Most EAs on the market show backtests run only on training data, using ideal fill assumptions, on a single timeframe, over a short period. Our process is the opposite: 11 independent robustness tests including out-of-sample validation on data the optimizer never touched, four types of Monte Carlo analysis (1,000+ simulations each), multi-timeframe checks, multi-market validation, and a final tick-precision run across the full 14-year dataset. What do I receive when my application is approved?

A licensed .ex5 file bound to your MT5 account number, a private step-by-step installation guide, the recommended broker and VPS configuration sheet, the Full Report for your tier (audited equity curve, monthly P&L, Monte Carlo analysis, full trade list), and 12 months of included updates and direct email support. Source code is not delivered — the .ex5 is the compiled, obfuscated delivery format and the only form in which the product is available.

How many accounts can I run one license on?

One license covers one live MT5 account number. If you operate multiple accounts, each requires its own separate license.

Question 21

Can I move the license to a different broker or account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The .ex5 is bound to a specific MT5 account number. If you change brokers or open a new account, contact us from your verified purchase email with the new account number and we re-issue the build — typically within one business day. The first transfer is included in the license. Subsequent transfers within the same 12-month window are handled on a case-by-case basis.

How does the application process work, and how long does it take?

Fill in the application form on this site (under five minutes). We review every submission individually, assessing capital profile, trading background, and risk alignment. Accepted applicants receive a payment link by email, typically within 24–48 business hours. Upon payment, the licensed .ex5 and full onboarding package are delivered to your inbox. Access is selective — not every application is approved, as we limit active licenses per strategy to protect its market capacity and protect every existing client's results.

Can I test the EA before committing to a purchase?

We do not offer trial builds. The EA contains proprietary compiled logic that cannot be distributed at scale. What we offer in its place is complete pre-purchase transparency: every tier's Full Report — including the full equity curve, monthly P&L breakdown, Monte Carlo analysis, and complete audited trade list — is available on the Products page before you apply. We encourage you to review these in full before submitting an application.

Are there any ongoing costs after the one-time license fee?

Accepted Answer

None mandatory. The license is a single payment — no subscriptions, no profit-sharing arrangements, and no monthly charges of any kind. After 12 months you have the option to renew the updates and priority support plan at a discounted rate. This is entirely optional: the EA continues to run on the last delivered version indefinitely whether or not you choose to renew.

Question 25

What happens to my license after the 12 months of included updates expire?

Accepted Answer

The EA keeps running on the version last delivered to you — there is no time-expiry or kill switch in the trading logic. You can renew the updates and priority support plan annually at a reduced rate if you want access to new logic, broker fixes, and parameter tuning. Renewing is optional; continuing to run the existing build is not penalised in any way.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. The license fee is non-refundable. The sole exception is a verified software malfunction: if the delivered EA is confirmed non-functional due to a bug on our end, we will review the case individually and work toward a resolution. Performance in live trading that differs from the published backtest does not constitute grounds for a refund — backtested results are simulated and not guaranteed to replicate in live conditions.

What level of support is included, and how quickly do you respond?

All tiers include 12 months of direct email support and access to updates as they are released. Pro, Elite, and Institutional receive prioritised handling with faster turnaround. Do I need prior trading experience to use this?

The EA automates trade execution, but it is not a set-and-forget product. We expect constant supervision — checking your MT5 terminal, VPS connectivity, and account status regularly — and a working understanding of risk management (position sizing, drawdown tolerance, knowing when to pause the EA). Basic familiarity with MetaTrader 5 (opening a chart, attaching an EA, reading the Journal tab) is required and is covered step by step in the onboarding guide we deliver after purchase. Our support team is reachable throughout setup if you encounter any issue.

How long until I can expect to see meaningful results?

Accepted Answer

The algorithm is selective and does not force trades — lower tiers average 20–50 trades per month. The statistical edge becomes clearly visible over 3–6 months of live operation. Short windows of days or weeks can look very different from the long-run mean: this is true of any systematic strategy with a finite trade sample. We strongly recommend running the EA for a minimum of 90 trading days before drawing conclusions from live performance.
